In between Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis, we hosted two teams from London Stone who created their own perfect storm. Attending The Landscape Academy over a two week period, the teams from London Stone predominately made up of Sales Advisors and Estimators, each received an intensive week long bespoke training course to gain a full understanding of the construction and installation process using only London Stone materials.
With a background in landscape construction, the directors from London Stone understand the importance of having a full scope of product knowledge to effectively advise their clients with the appropriate technical and product information. Conscious of this experience, Steve Walley approached The Landscape Academy with a view to providing their sales staff with an in-depth theory and practical landscape construction training session.
The bespoke course included site survey and groundworks, paving installation, cutting, jointing and grouting, step construction and cladding, wall copings and vertical cladding. The enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge shown by the London Stone teams has been humbling, and it has been an honour to teach such eager students. Their drive and passion to learn as much as possible to help deliver a better service to their customers was awe inspiring.
A third team from London Stone are expected later in the year and we can’t wait to put them through their paces.
